A hundred hearts

If I had a hundred hearts,
I’d give them all to you,
And if I had a hundred more,
They’d all be yours so true.

A hundred kisses on the breeze,
A hundred holding hands,
A hundred moonlit nights of love,
Through time’s long flowing sands.

Yet if I had a hundred tears,
To shed when e‘er I will,
I’d save them each and every one,
Until, until, until.

Should one day we have to part,
To separate realms of light,
I’d pour those tears into a pool,
And swim to hold you tight.

So love me while the blossom grows,
While sunshine fills our land,
And write our names upon the stars,
Where all will understand.
