The way in which I found myself
was by myself perceived unclear
and clearly did I guide myself
to be misguided year on year.
The years went by, and by and by
I, as I went, was redefined,
defining worth and mirth in ways,
such ways as stand the test of time.
For time is wasted making strife
and strife is pacified by pain.
Paying all one’s dues, despite the loss,
gives loss a role creating gain.
Creating no concern to search,
not seeking, finds a peaceful soul.
A soul which grows outwith within
is in its sanctuary, the whole.
