My thanks to Bob Newman for his years of work on the wonderful Volecentral resource.

My example poem

Sheets Askew (Italian Madrigal)

My love for you flows like a spring.
It’s not some thing I can control.
The sight of you makes my heart sing.

You’ve touched my heart; you share my soul;
my being resonates with you.
To bring you pleasure is my role.

When you’re asleep with sheets askew
I’m mesmerized- don’t want to sleep;
I’m captivated by the view.

The day that you became my wife
you thoroughly transformed my life.
