Example Poem
Kiss
#
My
tongue probes
parted lips
seeking your own.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Hesitant to leave
your lips, tongue tests lips texture,
explores their architecture.
Lingers lanquishly.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Then, insisting,
drives to touch
your own
tongue.
Tip
under
tip, over,
then whole tongue squeezed.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Your mouth consuming
my probing, demanding tongue;
projecting promises sung
to lower body.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
My lips seek you
inside of
my mouth
too.
You
know that
this tongue tastes
tempting texture.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Warm smooth undulate
deems greedy mouth but proxy
for the vessel this foxy
lady promises.

Respiration,
pulse increase,
during
kiss.

Arkquain Swirl

It is basically a segmented/augmented Arkquain String.

A syllabic  centered poem of 34 lines.
It was invented by Madison Shaw, aka Arkbear on Allpoetry.

*syllable cnt: 1234~5775~4321234~5775~4321234~5775~4321
(1/2/3/4/5/7/7/5/4/3/2/1/2/3/4/5/7/7/5/4/3/2/1/2/3/4/5/7/7/5/4/3/2/1)
*7 syllable lines end rhyme
Example Poem
Let’s Write an Arkquain Swirl
This
is the
way we write
an Arkquain swirl.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Think ahead and make
the longest lines end in rhyme.
Use equisized words each time.
create shape and form.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
An Arkquain swirl
is somewhat
like a
girl.
That is
curvaceous
in its measure.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
An Arkquain swirl must
be a pleasing site to see.
if like a girl it must be.
So pick words with care.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Or act like you’re
drunk and choose
random
words
and you
may find you’l
create a witch.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
And I can foresee
A time when that will pay off.
Until then, you can lay-off.
chopping up this form.
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
This Arkquain Swirl
might make you
want to
hurl.

Behrquain

A poem of 30 lines, a syllabic form invented by Madison Shaw, aka Arkbear on Allpoetry
2/4/6/8/6/4/2/4/6/8/6/4/2/4/6/8/6/4/2/4/6/8/6/4/2/4/6/8/6/4/2
form should be centered with care given to appearance.

Example Poem
Fake It
!!
Fake it
’til you make it
is an axiom that
will amaze you with its results.
Pick any skill you want
to master and
try it.
From braiding string
to throwing clay, just do
it like you already knew how.
First effort might not please,
but soon they  will.
Fake it.
If you are glum
but glum you wish to quit,
act happy.  Happy you’ll  become.
It sounds a bit simplistic, but don’t doubt
my word on this!  This works with other folks about.
You’ll  change the room; pretense has so much clout.
You can pollute a fun room too
if you aren’t mad and that’s
what want to do
Fake it.
I used to have
to think and think to find
a proper rhyme, so simply used
made-up words, and talked like
doctor Seuss or
Mother
Goose.   Less than a
week of that, and rhyming
was so natural my life may
be at risk from deranged
wife.  Maybe don’t
Fake it.

Most I have seen have been pentameter or longer.
Since one can choose any line-length and meter
I have chosen Iambic tetrameter for this work.
Example Poem
Absurdlutely My Beloved    (Phyquain)
I’ll mow my way through drive-way snow
I’ll shovel  through the growing grass
I’ll throw the pigs at angry birds
or fly-fish somewhere in a blimp.
I’ll cry when comedy’s the show
and laugh at church and scratch my ass.
I’ll roller skate in buff’lo herds
I’ll teach ballooning to a shrimp.
I might return before I go,
or teach at school that has no class
or write a poem without words
or book a nun that needs a pimp.
I might invite the firefly’s glow
to brighten up each underpass
or make all homeboys into nerds.
I could teach rattlesnakes to primp.
These I might do, you’ll never know.
However you will be my lass
forever plus about two-thirds.
Always will I remain your imp.
